The story

KANBEY's story is inspired by a merchant house in Wakasa, where the Tango Road and Saba Road meet. It combines food traditions shaped by exchange with Kyoto and Western confectionery. Today, we continue that story through products made with ingredients from Tamba, Kyoto and Wakasa.
Hanbit goes beyond telling regional stories. We select ingredients, develop products with makers and deliver them to department stores and mail-order channels. KANBEY is a brand that brings this work to life.
